This is a world class off-shore race, held every second year, between Halifax,Nova Scotia and Saint-Pierre.La "Route" is now an integral part of the international yachting calendar on the East Cost of North America.

Sailors enjoy the challenge of the 360 nautical miles separating Halifax from Saint-Pierre.Sailors from different maritime regions get together to appreciate the French islands.The participants take in the French ambiance, culture, gastronomy and hospitality.

Bastille Day July 14th is the National Holiday in France and commemorates the taking of the Bastille in 1789.Most events are centred around public areas and are attented by a lot of people.There are food concessions and games;The day ends with fireworks and an open-air dance.

The Ekletic Association is proud to present the DUNEFEST, wich will take place on the dune on Langlade.The program includes music, méchouie (barbecue) and various events !
