The peculiarity of L’Arche museum is that it houses both the Archives and the museum of the Territorial Collectivity of Saint-Pierre et Miquelon.

L’Arche museum will take you back through time of pre-history up to the industrial fishing period. The local economy and architecture of the houses played a major role in giving us the info on how everyday life back then could turn into tragedy. During summer a photography contest is proposed for the talented local photographers. The topic is imposed but the visitors are free to vote for their choice of preference.
